Walks, hikes, cycling and other similar outdoor pursuits are a great way to keep active, see some beautiful countryside and also meet and socialise with other mums and dads. This page will be updated with groups that meet for walk, hikes or other outdoor activities together.
- Stourhead Buggy Walk – a monthly walk around the beautiful Stourhead estate, Wiltshire and a chance to meet other mums as part of an initiative by the Balsam Centre. Walks start at 1pm outside Stourhead visitors centre on the third Monday of the month. Entry free, parking £2.
- South Gloucestershire Buggy Walks – South Gloucestershire Council run Walking to Health buggy walks for new parents and those with pre-school age children. Walks take place on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, starting from Emersons Green Library at 10am. These are led walks, taking around 45 mins and ending up back at the library where parents can use the facilities and have a drink and natter with other parents. New members always welcome!
